This was the first song we wrote for These Wild Things. It was the first time we really embraced a fully pop sound with full synth production. Did it at first make us feel uncomfortable? Yes. Were we anxious to see how our fans would react? Yes. Did the sound make us excited though? Absolutely. “Save Me”, which we wrote with Andrew Goldstein of Friday Night Boys fame, has a special place in our hearts, as it really paved the path for the way our album was going to sonically feel.

Believe it or not, this was completely spur of moment….We wanted to do a cover of this ever-pervasive song, but Omar had this idea to go beyond just playing it on acoustic, and to sort of emulate the video, and all it’s crazy dancing. Fast forward 20 shots of vodka, and you get this “masterpiece”. Enjoy.
